SPEAKING ENGAGEMENT

Exploring Deep Principles in Nature’s Life-Friendly Chemistry

Mark developed and led the first week-long immersion workshop on biomimicry and chemistry in partnership with two biomimicry professionals at NatuR&D.

The workshop took place at the Satpura Tiger Reserve in central India where participants had the opportunity to listen to captivating lectures on nature’s elegant and life-friendly strategies for achieving the same functional goals sought by commercial makers and users of chemicals, engage in interactive discussions, role up their sleeves and conduct hands-on experiments, and get out into the jungle to see nature’s chemistry in action. This particular immersion was designed for non-chemists. A one-day workshop for professional chemists is scheduled for October 16, 2019 at the Green ChemisTree Foundation’s upcoming conference for the Indian chemicals sector.
