Net Zero Conference 2018

Biomimicry 3.8 Principal Jamie Dwyer will present “Genius of Biome: California Coast,” a biomimicry workshop co-presented by Sean Quinn of HOK at the Net Zero Conference 2018. A $10 fee will cover the cost of the workshop, set for Friday, Sept. 14.

Here’s more about the workshop: How does nature achieve net zero energy? Natural strategies can serve as inspiration for the design community as we address systemic issues of climate change, urbanization, and natural disaster. Explore how the biomimicry process has become a creative methodology for architects and engineers, drawing inspiration from natural forms, processes, and systems to provide a fresh opportunity to re-think and re-imagine design challenges.
